Default D16z6 question?

I bought a 93' Del Sol SI about a year ago and the owner said that it wasn't a vtech. One day i stumbled across a engine chart, for hondas, that said the engine was a vtech. I was just wondering is or isn't it a vtech.

What all do you need to change when you add a turbo?

Nobody mentioned the APEXi turbo kit. I have a GReddy kit on my D16Z6, but thats cause of a $ shortage. I'd take that APEXi kit over GReddy any day!

IMO the GReddy kit is the best for the SOHC cuz of the money. but i would go with the with APEXi kit if i had the money.

if you ask me the F max is the best for the d16z6, the kit comes complete with even a thicker head gasket to run more BOOOOOST!!! ive seen some eg's here hit mid 12's on slicks here in san antonio. dont know of any other civics with different turbo kits, but if youre not in the low 13's with the APEX or greddy kits, than maybe you should think of a switch

In repsonse the question that this forum stared with, the del sol Si is not a VTEC.

The del Sol VTEC came with a B16A. Yes, we all know the Si came with a D16Z6, but when you asked the guy if it was a VTEC and he said no, he was telling the truth. Actually, to get nitpicky, the dS VTEC didn't debut until 94 in the US.

Just though I would share some stuff we all prolly already knew.
