Default RPM bouncing in park

I turned my 2002 Accord EX V6 on and the tach bounces up and down to around 2000 rpms. I pressed the gas, thinking that maybe the pedal got stuck a little bit, but it didnt stop. I turned it off, and then immediately tried to turn it back on and the tach was bouncing up and down again to 2000 rpms. It was working perfectly earlier today, can anyone tell me whats wrong?

Thanks in advance.

When the engine is cold, check the coolant level in the radiator (not the overflow bottle). If the coolant level is low, add antifreeze until the rad is full to the brim.

If the coolant level is fine, the problem is the IAC rotary valve. Common problem with J-series V6es. If the Check Engine light comes on with code P0505 stored in the ECU, then it's definitely the IACV.
