Horn, cruise and ABS not working, blowing fuse.
Hi. My horn and cruise are not working in my 94 accord EX. Also my ABS light is on and I don't get any ABS response (fine by me!).
I looked at the fuse when it first happened, and it was blown. I replaced it, and I pressed the horn and it gave a tiny weak dying horn sound, and then nothing. The fuse was blown right away. Did it one more time, same thing.
Any ideas on where to look? I assume there's a short or something but I'm pretty new to electrical diagnostics. Found this is a fairly common thing to happen with the SRS light going out (cable reel issue), but mine works so it must be something else.
Thanks!

Even if my SRS light is not on?
Thanks all!

Ok, new exciting symptoms!
I *think* I found the horn relay, right next to the accelerator... it's a black thick L-shaped Denso box with a green connector. The thing is mounted to a bracket, and I can't get the bracket out until I buy yet another stubby phillips. Oh well.
However, I noticed upon messing with the wires to unplug them from the relay, the cruise control switch on the dash suddenly works again, but still nothing from the steering wheel mounted controls. This is with the fuse blown still.
I figured if it was a short in the horn, the cruise will work if I replace the fuse and at least I'll have narrowed it down. So I replace the fuse again, and instantly it blows. I know this because there is a good amount of white smoke coming off one of the horns! Sweet! (It was the horn on the passenger side, is this high or low?)
So where do I go from here? It the horn that was smoking definitely dead? Is it likely the source of the short, or could I still have issues elsewhere? I have read about the cable reel problem, but that would give me a SRS light so I'm hoping it's not that as I want to pull the steering wheel a lot less than pulling the bumper to get at the horn.
Any suggestions on the path I should take next would be great. My new plan is to disconnect the smoking horn and see if a new fuse blows but it got dark and I couldn't get the damn electrical clip off. If the fuse is fine, then replace the horn? If not what do I check?
Thanks!

Is this what a horn relay on a 94 accord looks like (1994 EX with SRS)? This is located right next to the accelerator pedal. It looks a lot simpler and smaller in the shop manual.

And what part of the gray horn connector do I take off to test? The thing doesn't want to budge and I'd like to test it before taking off the bumper, but I don't want to rip anything I shouldn't. Does the whole gray piece belong to the wiring harness, or does any of it stay behind?

Well, I fixed it. I finally got the horn that was smoking disconnected and and that was where the short was. All better now.
Still not sure if that's the horn relay, but the horn clip has to be pushed in at the bottom on the back in the picture. The whole thing comes off.

I believe that plug goes to your ac/heater box. check your fuse box look at the label that describe for each unit. or simple way is call the dealer and ask them where its located at.
