My dad has a 2003 Honda CRV that I put a K&N Typhoon short ram on 2 years ago. I just bought a 2005 RSX Type S, completely bone-stock. Now, he asked me to find out if my stock airbox will fit on his car and he would swap out the short ram for it, so i don't have to pay for one. Will it fit on my car? Also, will my stock airbox fit on his car?

 

K&N part number for the CRV is 69-0015

K&N part number for the Type S is 69-1009

I'm guessing the engine compartment routing is different and such. Might be able to get it to work but I would just spend the money to get an AEM Cold Air Intake for the Type S. Dryflow filters are the bomb. I hate oil based performance filters.

No they won't swap. The manifold is setup different so the piping probably wont fit. But you can technically make anything fit lol
