Default Need help building a boost fed GSR head

This is my first head build, on my previous two turbo setups I used my bone stock 180,000 mile and counting head.

I just picked up a GSR head off an 01 and have began tearing it down. Before I drop it off at the machine shop to be cleaned and resurfaced, I am trying to decide whether to clean up the OE valves, or order a set omni power valves considering they are fairly cheap. I plan on retaining the GSR cams, springs, and retainers. The GSR block will remain stock sleeves with Eagle rods and CP pistons.

My question is, for the turbo guys with built heads. What valve train have you found to be the best for a daily driver and has proven moderate power gains?

Valvetrain is not going to "increase" your power, unless you run oversize valves in a propely ported head with a cam setup that needs the OS valves there is no gain, the gains come from reving higher..... that is if your setup makes power at a higher redline than stock. If there are gains they are so minimal normal dyno's probably wont even pick it up.

Supertech, OMNI, REV, Skunk2, Crower, BC they are all decent stuff

Thanks, I did forget to mention my power goal of 350whp, I was debating between keeping the stock valves or purchasing the omnis. However oversized valves are out of the question. So if one was keeping a stock valvetrain the only to to provide more power is more airflow, correct?

stock rev limit with stock valve train would do 350 whp with a 57/60 trim all day

aftermarket valvetrain is nice for the added security, being able to rev it higher (helps so you dont have to shift into 5th gear at end of track) and the additional power from being revd higher

supertech, omni, crower, skunk2 are all good brands
