I have a set of those...I think they are the best bang for the buck tire for the street. They are really predictable

No 712 experience, but I tracked their new MX. Drop me a line if you have any questions.

As long as you use them for street use only. Don't use them for autocross or track. I have 205/50/VR15 Kumhos. I'm going to try out Falken Ziex for my next set of street tires.

Falken ziex suck man. I've had them for a while and they don't really grip that great

I used the 712s for autocrossing last year. Not bad tires. I use them now for daily driving and Azenis for competition.

I use the kumhos as my street tire and for autocross. Really a great tire that has great tread wear and great "wet" drivability. The only complaint I really have is that it could be stickier, such as the azenis, but nevertheless an excellent choice.

I had these tires for a while – I really liked them. As mentioned, great wet traction, too. These were probably the quietest performance tires I ever owned. However, don't try driving in the snow with them

I had them to (Falken Ziex 205/40/17). In dry conditions, they weren't to bad but there was barely any traction in the rain. And forget the snow.

I've got 712's. I've had them since February. I thought they were only okay, till I got my new suspension, and realized that the 150,000 mile old stock suspension was a bigger impediment to traction than the tires.

I like them a lot more now.
