Car is a 1996 Integra GSR

Has 235K miles.

When I put it in first theres a slight grind and when im driving in reverse I hear a weird whining grinding.

I changed the oil in the tranny and it cured it for a while but now its grinding again.

Any ideas?

 

synchros might be going out

 

When the transmission grinds it doesnt mean that the clutch is going right?

 

It could be a possibility but since it is only doing it in certain gears, it is probably syncros

 

add some gm syncromesh and see what happens
