Default car stalls between 2k-3500k rpm for about a mile when first heats up??? HELP

Well i am new to the board as far as posts. I just did a clutch install and now when i start my car it will idle fine, and drive fine until the motor starts to heat up. The motor pulls like before and then. . . . between 2k-3500k RPM the car act as though it is starving for gas. I will do this for about a mile or so. Then the rest of the trip, weather it is 5 miles or 100 miles it wont happen again. But if i stop and the engine is turned off, even if it is warm it will still do the same thing. I cleaned off the contacts on the cap and rotor on the distributor. Replaced the fuel filter. check and cleaned off all grounds. checked vacumn hoses. Nothing, still doing it. Also the alternator is working correctly, reset the ECU and check all the wiring. the really f'ed up thing is the is nc Check engine light. Please help me with this problem. I have looked at the Haynes manual and says nothing about the problem i am having. Thanks
