Spark Plugs for '96 Accord
Looking for help on oem spark plugs for a '96 Accord LX 4 door.
I know the oem part# is 98079-5514G, and the oem NGK is ZFR5F-11. My question is, does it matter any if I install the ZFR6F-11 instead (i'm heavy footed so I speed a lot, so I'm thinking heat range of 6 will dissipate the heat better)???
Also, I looked on denso's webpage and it referenced KJ20CR-L11 as its oem, but every other web site states denso oem as KJ16CR-L11. So, which denso part# is the correct one, and does it matter any which one I install?
thx

In the USDM models the 5f was OEM but the JDM engines (2.0L) the 6f was reccomended as the engine runs higher compression..
I would just go with the 5 considering your engine (f22b2).. as far as I understand, heat range wont affect heat dissipation, NGK has a lot of his information on their website
If you want some good advice, spend the 80c more per plug and get the NGK G-Power platinums ZFR5FGP instead of the stock coppers... will last longer and at such a small difference.. why not?
