I just got Crower stage 3 cams for my b18a1. Is there anything thing else I need? Like valve springs or anything?

 

what compression ration r you running. cams are too big if you r stock. you must use dual valve springs & retains. also tune, header,

 

 

i would highly recommend you upgrade your entire valvetrain with running those cams, considering you will be visiting 9k with a tune. dont forget to tune. you may also be interested in upgrading your intake and exhaust system. good luck.

 

wow man u starting out big to go stage 3 cams u going to need to upgrade alot of other part so u can used those cam without blowing something else from your engine. first get better valve and spring and retainer to hold those cams.

 

HONDRETTI why would he be at 9k? I had a built LS a while back with 404's and never went to 9k. big cams don't always equal revving very high.

OP-, spring, retainers, IM, injectors possibly, better header and larger/better flowing exhaust, and most importantly a TUNE. REad the All motor forum and speak with people in there. Good luck bro and enjoy it.
