any sedan guys?
hey guys, im just trying to see if any sedan guys are on here. my dad had a 92 sedan that decided it wanted to split its block. im considering taking it and throwing a new d series and a 5 speed. also, my buddy has a nice turbo kit hes trying to get rid of so that will probably go on it if i decide to go through with it. i just need some inspiration before selling my truck for it ahah
i see, normally im a subaru guy, i work at a subie dealership. but i know a lot of guys who know what theyre doing with hondas, and i was about to get a wrx but cant get the loan because my dad needs a new car now ahaha. but its finally time for the honda route, ive wanted to for a while now. so why not.
well since you asked for it
this was my 92 LX went from a d15b7 to an all motor b16 then changed it up to a t3/t4 turbo on 15 psi with headwork before i parted it out and sold the shell for $100 (no front clip on it of course) If you are doing another d-series deffinetely go for a d16z6, as 92's are prewired for vtec so it's pretty much plug and play. a z6 will be a reliable daily tuned (boost is dependent upon the turbo of course) to around 200-210whp which will net you mid-low 13s depending on elevation and other factors. BTW, don't let anyone talk you out of it because 4 doors are "heavy" mine weighed in at 2,351 lbs. with FULL interior (power everything to boot) AND a 4 point rollcage.

I purchased my 96 sedan in February of 2006 with 152k miles. Now with 205K, it is still running strong. Honda civics are great cars, you won't be disappointed no matter how many doors you have.
When I purchased it, it was bone stock. I know that it is a generation newer than what you are looking at, but both generations have nearly limitless possibilities. That is why I love these cars.

Hey i am a lover all 4 doors.
My 95 LX Dragon Edition is great. The weight isn't really a factor as much as some people think it is. And i am also a lover of the sleeper honda's. There's nothing i like better than rollin up to a ricer with his ridiculously oversized wing, 18" Rota's, and bare bones Vtec, and roasting him boostifully with my "4 door sedan".........
Sedans are quietly deceiving....

okay. its decided. im getting it ahaha. forcefedferio. damn that is a monster front mount. so i talked to my friend and he has an LS vtec motor in his old coupe hes trying to part out, as well as a blown 5 speed. we have everything for the swap, plus rear disc brakes =D. the only thing i cant get over is the color of the car. its Tahitian Green Pearl or some crap. kinda like puke green. im thinking about just spraying it flat black.
4dr's have longer and wide wheelbase the 4dr is acctually better for road courses :D
i have had a 4dr well i still do....most of it anyway
i loved it but i love my hatch more. but i am currently looking for another 4dr for a daily

hell yeah mang i love mine too! i picked it up about 6 months ago pretty stock and its only gonna get better over time with all the additions i will be putting on it. ive had two by the way my 91 currently and my db1 90-93 integra sedan.
woot woot! if i must tell the truth. rather than havn my 4dr stripped and have 402hp in the car. i wish i left it stock on its orginal 13s and d15 5spd. i miss the nasty grime under the hood and the 70hp i had
I personaly love my 97 sedan. I ussually give rides to people and such so the 4 doors are great. I'm in the proccess of looking for a b18c to put into my car to get a bit more power cuz it feels really lethargic with 3 or 4 extra passengers
Maybe one day when i'm not out and about with people all the time i'll get a hatch or a coupe but until then, the sedan is awesome.
