Default what can i use to circle paint flaws?

as per my thread in here regarding the recent debacle with some paint work on my car (https://honda-tech.com/forums/paint-body-84/handling-nibs-such-2575886/) ....what can i use to circle all the fvcking dust nibs/trash/etc in the paint so this moron doesn't overlook anything? in passing today i saw a car at a body shop that had pink circles drawn on it.

thanks

If they are flaws you're going to fix use a black or white permanent marker. If you dont want to damage the surface, the chalk could scratch it a little. Circle it with some soap.

thanks for the reply.

i actually want to do it there to begin with but interestingly enough their shop seems to be lit from the outside in a manner that makes some of this **** harder to see in the silver. it's crazy because at night, or in my garage (i detail on the side so i have amazing synthetic lighting, both flouro and halogen) i can see the **** like the plague......it makes me sick.

you'd think that out of any place, inside a body shop you'd be able to see flaws but honestly...i think their booth is the only place that might have lights compareable to my garage or a well lit parking lot

i used black sharpie and never had issues bleeding through since it was blocked down anyway.

Don't use a grease pencil, if all of it isn't taken off prior to painting you could have problems. Just you a sharpie/permanent marker. It won't affect anything.

Go to staples and buy those colored page markers. They are like stickers with an arrow on them. The arrows are colored. You can just stick them all over the car. They are cheap as hell.

Sometimes when you get your taxes done they have these stickers on every line you're supposed to put your signature on. It has an arrow on it telling you to sign here. I don't know what the name is but that's the best way to describe it.

as far as i know, it's a paint pen they use. if you're picky, just get masking tape and put a piece of it on every little ding you see. it won't blow off.
