What Ballasts to buy?
I started w/ a pnp kit (w/ 3-year warranty)
One ballast burnt out after 6 months, cost me shipping plus $20 rip-off fee (was pissed)
Got new ballast, did a retrofit, used old ballasts to save $ temporarily
Now, another ballast burnt out. I don't want to spend too much....$100+/- would be ideal for a pair.

If your going through all the trouble of paying just on shipping your defective ballast, I'd suggest that you pay a lil more and get a set of OEM ballast instead to save the headaches....or maybe you have a bad ground to cause the ballast to burn out? Check the connections before you make a decision. Good luck.
Ehh, I'm pretty sure it's not the ground. They functioned properly and I heard of many other people who had them burn out after about 6 months.
Also, the terrible service is why I'm upgrading the ballasts. I don't want to pay the $200+/- for OEM ones, though.
I'd prefer something like this: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/2-ORA...ayphotohosting
Anyone know if they are legit?

They work great too. Justin is the main guy or is one of the main guys there that does a lot of fabricating and customizing for the Lexus IS300. I own one and I am using there Oracle Halos on my headlights for my IS. I'd say you can go with them and their customer service is great as well.
