Ok well, on my ej1 civic my cluster and climate control lights don't seem to be working at all. But when I turn on the headlights the clock dims like it is seposed to and the tailights go on as well.

I replaced a few fuses and still nothing. I was told to ground a wire on the dimmer switch and see if that works. (?)

And the previous owner of the car had no idea what was wrong, he said he would just hit the dash hard and the lights would come on. :s But then they eventually stopped.


Any ideas or suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

 

take out the dimmer switch and replace it. had same problem with 3 Hondas.

 

Actally ya I need to do that!

Just figured out how to ground the dimmer wires and it worked lol.

 

hey I think i'm having the same problem. its a 95 hatch. the cluster works and the dimmer switch works its just at night when I turn on the lights, I'm pretty sure that the climate button lights are supposed to come on. they dont come on only when I press one, then I get a green light and I can't see which one to press since they'r not on.
so if thats somewhat like your problem let me know .
