Changed my OIL this weekend....but i USED a Wicks/Dana filter....?? did i screw up

Default Changed my OIL this weekend....but i USED a Wicks/Dana filter....?? did i screw up

so i used a wicks/dana filter....it has a slightly higher capacity, took a full 5 qts to fill it up , instead of 4 1/4 like with the mobil one.....am i gonna have problems with this filter....acura was closed, and couldnt find a mobil anywere ??

dont worry about it!! i think the whole honda opil filters thing is bull anywho, they did not even do to good on the oil filter test! i use stp, and we used (orange) fram on our race cars!! so dont worry!! eric

The Wix filter is just fine, especially if you're just going to have it in for 3k miles.

The Wix filter is just fine, especially if you're just going to have it in for 3k miles.

koo....now i can stop worrying....my Dad told me to get it....after he put it on....he said "its a real good filter, they use it on big rigs" ...then i started to worry....tHeY DiZont goT vTeC....WTF? ....j/k

Honda motors are known to burn a little oil. If I were you I would not worry.

Wix filters are some of the best on the market. If I did not use OEM in my fleet, I would use Wix

Wix I too heard was a good filter. You are fine as long as you don't use Fram.

2 filters highly recommended, Purolator Premium Plus ($2.99 at Sears and Pepboys) and STP ($2.99 at Autozone)

I read the review someone posted on here from another site and both were very very made interms of quality and construction. And at $2.99, they are dirt cheap.
