gas pedal real heavy? normal?

the gas pedal is real heavy to push you almost have to floor it to get it going. it's 96 dx automatic, tried putting wd-40 but nothing. is this normal or is something wrong?

try some TB cleaner..could be carbon buildup on ur throttle plate

You may have to adjust the cable or replace it, my 97 throttle cable frayed apart and eventually broke

I had that problem once i took the TB off and clean the poop out of it and sprayed a little tiny bit of silicone lube spray into the actual cable. It worked perfect and also ran a little smoother.
