Default Clifford 50.7x w/ remote start satellite relays

I just bought a clifford 50.7x alarm w/remote start.

In this model the remote start relays are integrated into the control unit.

now I may or may not install the control unit into the dash behind the cluster for a decent stealth install. If i do then every thing should work out fine. but i have been contemplating putting it else where. If i do, the heavy gauge wires will not reach the ignition harness. there is a port on the control unit for use with external relays.

I currently have an alarm with a remote relay pack for remote starting, but it is not a dei. i know it will most likely not plug right in, but obviously if i check to make sure it functions the way it would if it was a dei unit, and i pin it correctly, there shouldn't be any problems correct?

Just wanted to make sure that im not completely out there on this, as the pin outs from the control unit are pretty straight forward.

just need to find what the trigger is for each relay.... neg/pos trigger. then make sure the relay is wired up right for the new alarm and bam there you are. dont extend the wires for the autostart. just tuck it some where its not so easy to get to. plus you want it kinda easy to get to for service. yup that's exactly what i was thinking, because i definitely don't want to extend the heavy gauge wires so that leave me with using my own relay setup, but if i can use the other one with out any hassles i should be golden.

haha its some no name i bought off of a local guy when he couldnt figure it out. Got it for 30 bux, alarm and remote start, lasted 2 years, the second fob finally died. the company is aftermarket generation. the model is AGA1201. I plan on just taking the relay set apart and tracing it out to make sure it will work correctly with the DEI.

I'm not even sure I am going to need to do this, i might end up doing a stealth install behind the gauge cluster instead of in the rear quarter panel. so the heavy gauge that comes with the 50.7x might be long enough.

Can you post a picture of the alarm and this heavy guage wire you speak of I'm considering buying the same alarm. I would greatly appreciate it. Where did you buy your alarm from?

Thanks
Chris
