i took a fishing trip to clear lake, california. on the way there i notice alittle vibration coming from the driver side, didn't think much of it until i came down alittle turn on a hill then the little vibration turned to a big vibration, i looked to see if i can tell where it's coming from but couldn't, and i was far from home so i just forced the car to the lake cause i was only a few miles from it...long story short after i forced the car home later that night, i decied to replace the driver axel in the morning, come to find out it was the axel, i guess one of the bearings inside the joint was messed up, but i still have that small vibration coming from the driver side...can it be a bad halfshaft? i checked my wheel hub and it has no play in it, has anybody had this happed before?

 

vibration can be ball joints or tie rods. check those before you drive into a lake. i have this problem now. i replace the steering rack and wheel bearing and etc. still crap.

 

only when i accerlate though..

 

this is what im in the process of. checked everything and everything is fine. but still the problem is there. sucky part. start replacing parts

 

Check all the motor mounts:
