Building Advice And Thoughts
Ok so first ill give you the low down of what i got on my em1.
dc 2 into 1 headers
apexi n1 catback
aem v2 intake
skunk2 68mm tb
skunk2 mani
aem rail,regulator,and filter
rc 240cc and 310cc (Note: 240's are in now)
toda belt and cam gears
msd coil, cap and rotor, sport compact ignition box
chipped p28 ecu (Note: stock is in now)
(Note: The car was running super rich and acting werid with the 310's and p28 so went to stock on them)
So basically i have done alot of reading on this site but i would like some help because im not sure how to get this car to the level i want it to get to. I want to still get good mpg but have a good amount of power to run 14 to 15's at the track. is this even possible?
So the first thing is can u get a good tune on a p28 ecu so it acts like how the stock ecu is in a em1 but with more power and 310 injectors to get you good gas mileage or not?
Second: I want to put cams in it cuz i know this will help alot and make it faster but will this affect the mpg? looking as stage one skunk2 or toda's idk maybe stage 2
So really i just want a car that is a good daily driver and acts good, but can become a little devil at the track does anyone think this is possible. so any help and thoughts would be greatly appreciated

any thing is possible bro. First start off by doing exhaust headers everything. get it cammed stage 1 for street use and after all the goodies are in go get it all tuned and just that alone should make it into high 14's or low 15's. also your saying you want it to be a devil at the track buy a E-Cutout. it goes on your down pipe and at a click of a button you will be dumping headers and loud is **** no muffler no cats nothing just a free flowing exhaust. it will make a big difference and wont sound like everyone's Hondas with their rice mufflers. I have NEVER heard a honda at the track sound as good as my SOHC V Tec Dumping Headers. even GSR's sound riced out. i hate that sound.
