Left suspension clunking -searched!
Car: 2000 EM1. Lowered on Neuspeed Race, stock shocks, which are on the way out, but not leaking.
PROBLEM: So, my suspension is clunking on the driver's side. When i raise the car and even remove the wheel I can not replicate the noise. When the car is stationary and on the ground, and I just jiggle the steering wheel from left to right slightly, I hear a light clunking. Driving is not stable, the car seem so sway at highspeeds or if there are 3-4 people in car while braking. Also, I can feel the movement under the floorboard near the pedals.
So far, this is what i've done to try and diagnose the problem.
-Checked lower ball joints
-Tie Rods
-Upper Control Arm/ball joint
and these all checked out okay.
-Had a mechanic look at the bushings to tell me they were fine
I do have some play in the sway bar endlink, but can this be associated with the problem?
I pulled at the axel and it just has the normal amount of play (left-right)
Anyways, some insight would be greatly appreciated. TIA.

I have Em1 front suspension on my hatch. I noticed a clunking noise appearing from one day to another. I took my suspension apart looking for the culprit thinking it was the balljoint on the UCA. Then my friend noticed that the endlink looked weird. Sure enough, one of the balljoints on the endlinks had popped out!! New endlinks now and problem free
