It's true, the engine code is b21a1. Although, it can barely be considered a 2.1 litre engine (I've forgotten the exact cc of displacement).

 

Very nice. Those wheels look great on that car.

 

Yup, my friend has an SI with a b21a1 and All wheel steering. Looks good. I like the rims. polished lip.

wat do those old prelude usally run 1/4 mile? high 15's?

 

looks clean, the b21a has about 140 hp. it probably runs high 15's to low 16's since its pretty light.

i got smoked by a 87 Prelude at Fontana last month that looked alot like this one. He had a H22 swap though.

the bore of the B21A1 is exactly the same as any other bseries block...the thing that makes it 2.1 liters is the looooong *** stroke of like 95mm i think...making it one of the worst engines honda has ever designed...I know i've had three...

i have heard, however, that some people have used CTR pistons in their b20a/b21a engines...

I have also heard of people using the b20a/b21a crank in newer bseries motors for a cheap torque monster stroker kit...

 

i hope youre kidding........ those were the worst motors honda ever made. those things are weak as ****, i had a friend who had a couple of those older preludes and the motors were just no good.

I've seen this before, old Prelude crank with custom pistons. I think those older Preludes ran high 16's, I remember they weren't very light at all.
