i plan on getting a swap for my DD, i've been thinking of an LS. but plan on rebuilding the bottom end. and maybe going LS vtec. my brother crashed his teg. so hes gonna hook me up w/ his motor. but can someone point me in the right direction. Wat does rebuilding the block consist of? new pistons, sleeves etc? Anyhelp greatly appreciated. thx

 

depends. when you rip apart the bottom end, check for cracks/nicks on the sleeves. inspect the pistons and everything. when you rebuild the bottom your replacing seals/bearings ext.. also, if you wanna run LS Vtec and since the bottom is apart through out those LS pistons and get some P30 pistons "B16".
