d15b swap problems cranks but wont start!!
Hi guys I just got timing belt in today, and yea this could be a big problem. The belt might be off.. I heard fuel pump, it also cranked but doesn't start. The problem im worried about is that the 1 wire that is from your fuse box that goes into the alternator it was sparking when i was pushing the alternator in and out. Do you guys think I put it in the wrong spot? Or it was probably touching other ground stuff?
all spark plugs are in, and yea after that sparks from the alternator my fuse blown the 80A one the main one from bottom left undder hood. I'm not sure if timing belt is off or not, but CEL is on cause of o2 sensor
I may have missed it in your reply, but do you have bright white/bluish spark at the plugs?
If you clear the ECU, does the CEL again remain ON after cranking the engine? If so, pull the code again to see whether only an O2 sensor code reappears.

i THINK my timing's right. You know where your alternator is there's a wire that goes on top of the black thing that you screw down wit a 10 nut. The wire that's supposed to go to it is the white one from the FUSE BOX is that correct? I was moving the alternator to put alternator belt in and i saw a spark there n after that the main battery fuse was blown. Do you think any other reasons may have caused this?
