So I finally made it into Toronto about a week ago where I'll be studying for 6 weeks at St. Michael's College (part of University of Toronto for those of you unfamiliar with Toronto). I'm staying with my family in the Scarborough/Markham area, but commute everyday into downtown. Will there be any unofficial ITR meets for the next 6 weeks? I am NOT talking about any illegal sort of underground drag racing stuff... I'm talking about meets where the local ITR community gets together and chew the fat. Or are there any of you here in Toronto into car shoots? I've been getting into photography and would love to learn from someone more knowledge of automobile photography. Let me know.

Toronto integra's has really gone downhill since it's new ownership a couple months ago.

It might be hard to find an ITR specific meet, but there are meets all the time. Most notably every wednesday night at Kennedy Commons (Kennedy and 401).

There is also a CSCS (Canadian Sport Compact Series) event this weekend at Cayuga that will have lapping, time attack, drifting, drag and show and shines.

The largest and best import community in Toronto would be www.jdmrides.ca All kinds of meets/events planned on there. Meets and track days.

Hey man we havent had an "official" type R meet in over a year.
Be careful parking the car in Toronto and never leave sight of it or else it will get scooped by some scumbag.

 

I will be there too. I think I'm competing in the s fwd class for the time attack. My car has the heart of the ITR but I'm still faking the funk.

 

We should get an "offical" R meet going...

 

i havent even seen that CW around anywhere.

but id be down for an ITR meet if others are serious about it.

CSCS is almost a must for me this Sunday, im competing in the SS FWD class

that's what i'm thinking... I'm only going to be here for about 7 more weeks or so and I have a lot of weekends starting to get filled with wedding photography shoots, so Sundays are looking more like it. I'm going to leave it to the locals to set this up, though.

I'll have to look into this whole CSCS thing. Don't worry about ITR theft for me... I brought up the 99 tan camry. the only thing setting it off would be the california plates other than that, it's just a mama's car that feels like a land boat.

 

Definitely check out the CSCS meet on the 31st then! Should be a good time! Im bebating whether or not to go.
