Default Post Your F-series Swaps

bored at work on Memorial Day......thought this would be a good idea considering this swap is getting more popular as the years go on. this thread is not for people with F20/22/23's in Accords, Preludes, CL's, S2000's etc etc. this is for F-series swaps in other Honda platforms or cars. F2D's and F2B's are obviously permitted. i would like to see some non-honda's with F20/22C swaps. but mostly F-series swaps in Civics, Del Sols, Integras, etc etc.

Go.

Yeah, at the time I dont think it had been done too many times. The only reason we did it was I just had completed a H22 swap into a '99 accord for a guy and had all his old parts laying around. My buddy didnt have much money to spend and he got the motor and trans for dirt cheap.

The whole swap, including the mounts, shift linkage, axles, ecu, and aftermarket header cost him less than $1000 when it was all said and done.

Fun car too! It was quite a bit faster than that h22 accord. I autocrossed the F23 civic a few times and it had fantastic midrange power.

I'd still like to do an f23 with an h22 trans in a nice light hatchback. Someday, maybe.

You know it was so long ago and everything was so bastardized, I cant really remember.
I think it was from like a '96 accord or something.
