hay whats up? i have a 93 civic 4dr. just put in my new suspension. gc coilover and top hats and dropzone struts. i now have a squeeking sound up front. my car is slammed. i used the bump stop supplyed with the top hats. i didn't cut it. should i? is that the squeeking sound? car rides really good but it squeeks like a bitch. any ideeas? please help me out

 

What condition are you suspension bushings in? My front UCA's squeak like a MF'er but they are cheap eBay OEM replacement UCA's. However my old stock UCA's also squeak really bad because the bushings are so old. I'm planning to purchase brand new OEM UCA's with new bushings and ball joints included, for about $93/side here fairly soon.

 

GC extended upper mounts include a polyurethane spring isolator (the black bushing to go between the spring and upper mount). Due to how the spring twists under compression, it rotates the poly piece, causing squeaking.

Mine squeak. I thought it was my UCA bushings (which also squeak), but even after lubing those, there's still noise from the upper mount.

Either accept it, lube it up really well, or replace it with rubber.
