96+ JDM ecu pin-out
I understand the plugs are the same as obd2a even though those motors are considered 'obd1.' So..
-Is the pin-out the same, ie. everything in the same spots as obd2a minus pins for the usdm emissions equipment? Or are there other differences?
-Using the obd2/usdm engine harness (ckp/tdc sensors at the oil pump), will the ecu harness need to be modified for the jdm ecu to pick-up those signals (assuming the rest of the pin-outs are the same) or is the harness wiring the same (only the physical location of those sensors is different)?
