Default universal fog lights installing?

I bought a universal light kit for my 96 civic.

I have two questions that i hope friendly members here could give me a hand.

There is a red wire with a fuse 15amp attached to it. The direction say it can either be connected directly to the battery or to a fuse box. I decided to connected to the battery because i wasn't sure where to connect to my fuse box. any help??

And the other question is that i'm not sure how to get the wiring to inside my vehicle from the hood.

thanks in advance.

I have a set of universal fog lights on my car to. I ran that wire to the battery and everything works fine. As far as running it in the car youll have to find a rubber gromet in the firewall somewhere there are a few of them.

There will be a small opening somehwere in the firewall..
Near the brake pedal, steering collumn, or AC connections.

Just search around!! Think about how all of the other wires and whatnots are going thru there..obviously an opening.
