will my d15b7 cam gear fit a z6 head so i can use the stock b7 belt? (btw i will be replacing the belt and water pump, so please dont say that i need to replace it anyway XD)

 

i believe they are the same cam gear already.. when I did the mini me swap in my old coupe I didn't swap them..

 

once again, It is NOT the cam gear that makes the belts not fit. its the deck height of the head. the V Tec head sits lower than the Non V Tec Head. Both cam gears are the same.

Either way the b7 timing belt is waay to big. trust me i tried it. 107 teeth VS 103 Teeth i think.

 

Just use the z6 timing belt...

 

Yes. You just buy the belt for the head. b7 head = b7 belt. z6 head = z6 belt.
