Default squeal on startup

hey, i have a d15b and most of the time when i start it up it squeals. sometimes it is just a quick burst and others it lasts a couple of seconds. it also happens when i rev the engine sometimes. i dont have ac or ps so i ruled out that it could be a belt issue. what could this be?? any help is greatly appreciated! thank you!

Yup
in order:
1. Check belt tension
2. Use belt conditioner
3. Replace belts

Remove the A/C and PS belts (permanently) to see if the noise goes away.

If the noise persists, then also remove the alternator belt (temporarily).

It's most likely the belts but an easy way to check quick is to spray a small amount of belt dressing onto them and see if the noise goes away. If it does, then replace the belts. Otherwise you can just do it like Ron said and remove the belts one at a time.
