Need Help Today! CRX Won't start!
I have a 90' base 1.5 and I went to start this morning. The fuel pump runs, all the ringers work and the main relay has been rebuilt, every thing sounds normal but it will not turn over. It was running just fine last night aside for an idle problem (something to do with the vacuum system) that has going on for a while now without a hitch. I had to replace the turn signal/light switch last weekend and the ringer doesn't ring when the lights are on and the car is turned off anymore but it has been working fine for a week without it. My wife's crap *** corsica bit the dust last weekend and this the only way we have to get to work Monday! Please Help!
This is my first car. I have had it since i was 17 and I am 27 now. It has never given may any major problems. Except for about 3 cv axels and 1 clutch it has ran tip-top.

lol if it wont turn over period check the basics, oil level, the starter... i had a problem once when i went around a corner and skipped my tires, then it wouldn't start later... turns out the starter signal wire had come unplugged from the starter.
When I turn the key to ACC and then to ON everything goes as normal, I can hear the fuel pump come on then off and when I turn the key to start nothing happens. I was thinking maybe the sensor that tells the car that the clutch is pressed. If it is I can't find that switch and it isn't under the dash like the brake sensor. I looked at the starter and everything seems to be fine.
I would start by jumping the starter (just need a piece of wire). The starter will have a larger gauge wire coming from the battery and a smaller spade type connector. Electrically connecting these 2 will cause the starter to engage. Make sure the car isn't in gear. I don't want to read later that you ran over yourself trying this out.
If that works, you know your starter is good, you can work back from there.

so if its not turning over at all it could be a bad conection or ground or the ignition switch or the clutch switch or the starter do like bunger said to see if the starter is good. also if you got a test light have some one turn the key all the way like your gona start it and see if your getting power on the smaller wire at the starter if not then it could be the ignition switch or the clutch switch. look harder for the clutch switch unless you got a 88 they didnt have them. you can also jump the 2 wires at the clutch switch to by pass it.
