just to be clear, its an 88 crx si with a dohc zc all obd-0

i finally began to try and get this problem figured out today and with no luck its still not starting. The car used to run fine and then it started to get this weird like 3k rpm rev limiter or something and it never went away, i let it sit for a month and then this problem started in august last year while the car was sitting, i went to go start it and the fuel pump didnt prime and it would just crank and crank. so today i decided to try and get it going. i got a used tank with a working pump and installed it, the pump now primes but the car still is not starting.

The car is getting spark and it seems to be getting fuel but not much.
i am getting no codes, on the pm6 ecu, the only code i am now getting is the cylinder position sensor, but thats cause my buddy was messing with it, after we couldnt get it to start, so i gotta buy a new one.

the main relay seems to be fine, it clicks the check engine light goes on the pump primes and the cel light switches off with another click from the relay.

i have some ideas on what it could be but i dont want to just go out and start buying parts i dont need. what could be the problem???

 

shouldn't a pm7 ecu be for a zc dohc and not a pm6

 

it should, but it doesnt have to. it can run on the pm6, pg7, pm7 and probably a few more.
i used to run the pg7, but i dont really notice a difference power wise with it so i sold it and used one of the pm6s i had laying around.
