i have a weired situation my car idles from 1500 to 2000 rpm all the time when i turn it on and its cold and it dosent stop until the engine gets warm i tried adjusting the screw on the throttle but the idle always goes too low or wants to turn off when i come to a stop and if i take the screw completely out the car works fine what can it be???or what can i do at home to try to fix it???

 

Is the CEL ON?

Try cleaning the IACV and FITV on the throttle body.

 

im new to cars im only 17 whats cel on??and how to i clean those other things???
