Default I must find a solution: B16 o2 sensor(s)/ECU problem

*I did a search

This is a confusing problem. I use the DC header in my b16 hatch. We only ran 1 o2 sensor and only ran it into the primary ecu pinout. I am using the stock pw0 ecu. The car idles high (around 1400 rpm), but other than that its steady, I havent seen it throw a code. I only get around 25 mpg.

I also have the zdyne one wire conversion ecu. When I put it in, the car idles like **** (fluctuates from 500-1500 rpm) and it runs pretty weird. It throws a code that I couldnt follow (sometimes I can't tell when it starts and stops, I guess I'm retarded).

Why is this? I want the car to be wired correctly to prevent any problems in the future. Is there something else I'm missing (another sensor that could be the prob)? I just dont understand why it doesnt throw codes. I ran a 15.5 at the track and I'm worried that it may be running lean. I was going to splice the primary o2 wire, but I dont have a pin in my plug for c8. Where can I get these pins?

TIA

My bro has a DC 4-1 headers in is car.THis car was my friend's car before. When he installed the headers he welded 2 bungs like in the original location as the OEM exhaust manifold.
No code,no loss of performance,no shitty idle.

May not be your problem, but at least you know more now.

Splicing the O2 is a no-no.

This as been said and says all the time.

Why is it a no-no? Electrically, you will see no voltage loss wiring them in parallel (splicing). And since you are placing the o2s next to each other in the DC header, that will essenital be giving the same reading anyway.

if this was the case, than when you swap primary and secondary, the car would run good. but this ISN'T THE CASE!! it matters..
