Can you move the arm that the end of the clutch cable is attached to (on the trans) by hand? If so, sounds like the end of that arm isn't attached to the throw out bearing correctly.

Those systems are pretty simple really, but getting the throw out bearing on the end of that are can be a PITA if you haven't done it a number of times. There is a little metal "clip" that holds it together at the end. Did you reinstall that?

are you talking about the spring that clips the bearing onto the arm? i can move the clutch by hand at the tranny but there is some spring resistance, so i at least didnt forget to bolt the arm on the shaft

You shouldn't be able to disengage the clutch using your hand, unless you have the worlds weakest pressure plate. The clutch pedal provides a decent amount of mechanical advantage. Is the tranny flush with the engine? Is the clutch cable adjusted correctly? Maybe you just need to tighten up the cable itself?

when i disengage the clutch by hand it feels like it did with the tranny completly off if you follow, like the bearing isnt contacting the release fingers, im gunna tear it apart i guess

Is the arm at the end of its throw when you pull on it? Make sure you haven't just pulled up the slack. There is a decent amount of adjustment on those cable clutches.

I think he's talking about the return spring on the pedal itself.
