Field VTec Controller Cuts Motor Out
So Me and a few buddies have taken a look at this old school vtec controller that is in my car and cant figure this out so i'll explain the situation and maybe i can get better results here.
I drive a Blue 90 CRX Si with a B16A JDM Vtec swap.
I have the Field V-Tec Controller on my dash under my stereo.
Randomly 50% or so of the time i'm driving if i hit a bump or something touches my VTec Controller. My cars idle drops to roughly 1-400rpm's and tries to stay running but eventually dies in seconds unless i tap the gas extremely quick, so i just shut the car off even on the freeway for 10 seconds, restart the car, and it's perfectly fine again...
Any ideas or suggestions of what could be causing this?
It does the same thing when i plug things into my cigarette lighter adapter. And that is brand new.

If it's the same Field controller I'm thinking of, it also adjusts the fuel. Sounds like the wiring for the MAP sensor going to or from the controller is having an issue.
I've got my V-Tec set at 5000 and my fuel cut off at 7800, the wiring to the map sensor i thought might have been it also, but i just rewired it like 3 days ago TO and FROM.
I have noticed though that if i shake the Field Controller, it will also cause my car to sputter and try to die... It had me thinking it could possibly be a ground wire as it also does this when i plug something into my cigarette lighter while the car is running...
