Oil Slick warning - I5NB Carpool Lane - Tustin, CA
I was commuting this morning and came up to an OCTA bus. **** was leaking some sort of hydraulic fluid and left a mean stripe down the right hand side of the northbound carpool lane. I hit the slick going around the right hand bend just past the 55 interchange and skated about a foot in my lane before traction resumed.
I know there are some local riders in here so keep out of the HOV lane for a few days in that area.

We must have been there about the same time. About 5:15am, got up behind an OCTD bus, of course no passengers. Actually, I get up behind a car that got up behind it. The car started spraying his windshield wiper fluid. What the heck... He finally got over at the ElToro-Y and that put me in back of the bus. All kinds of liquid sh*t was coming out the back of it, all over my helmet, face shield, front of bike... I gingerly went around it. Got to work and had to wash the helmet with paper towels/soap/water. NASTY stuff.
huh. i 'know a girl' that lives in tustin. she's one of those chicks that will show up at a rally point and pick a bike to ride pillion just for ***** and giggles.
