Default How to reduce heat on coupling going to turbo?

Basically, I have a rubber coupling that is 1.50" going to the turbo. I got it from Home-Depot because I cant seem to find any actual high quality couplings that size at any shops around here. Im wondering is there anyway i can lower the heat thats getting to it.? The extreme hot air makes that coupling very soft and I've blown a hole in a few when going full boost. This only happens when I've been driving for a while and my motor gets HOT!

Any ideas? heat wrap around it? anything?

I saw that but im asking are there alternative ways to reduce the heat getting. Maybe by wrapping that coupling with heat wrap.

I tried a few popular website to get turbo parts...and they also dont have silicon couplings in 1.50"

Spend the $5-10 bucks (that's a guesstimate as its been about 4 years since I needed to buy one) and buy a good silicone coupler. Stop bein cheap. You are gonna spend more time and money rebuying your cheap rubber coupler and heat wrapping it than you would if you just bought a good coupler.

Your such an idiot. lol I said that I couldn't find any 1.50" good quality silicone couplers around here or online, so I was seeing what I could do in the mean time.

But "vietjdmboi" showed me a website where I can find the size I need. Thank you!

*sigh* Douche bags these days......

oh shut up, you really needed to ask people online how to reduce heat on a coupler?

learn to use your brain and you wouldn't get "doushe bag" responces.
