Found out why my rear was cluncking and sqeaking. PIX of 13 years of neglect inside!
Just wanted to share.
It suppose to be horizontialy even across for folks that are unfamiliar with rear trailing arms.

Major crack in at top of rta

cracks on bottom

And new Hotness installed. flca bushings in the background also freshly pressed in.

Nice! How much of a PITA was it for you to replace those? I hope you had the right tools so you didn't have to break too much of a sweat.
I tried to hammer it out with a brass hammer but couldnt get the car up high enough to swing the hammer properly (not enough leverage, wierd angle) I bit the bullet and picked up the xtractor It will be on sale soon.

Yup, bound to happen on our cars
glad you got it sorted out with a new one and stuff!
btw, any reason you didn't go for an aftermarket one such as Hardrace (non urethane)?

It s a daily driver so going with aftermarket or anything harder would be more expensive and ride quality/harshness would reach the moment of critical mass.
If I wasnt planning on selling my truck (dd for now) I would have liked to go with some full blown, race spec rta's. That would be a fun ride even on the street.
