Default Use inline 255lph fuel pump with stock pump?

Can I use a Walbro Inline 255lph fuel pump with my stock pump. I guess my real question is will it be effective this way to get more fuel flow just like putting one intank?

The inline is meant to be used as a booster pump after stock pumps, your OEM pump will not be working nearly as hard as it would be by itself because it does not have to make pressure it is just feeding the inline, it will almost be freeflowing.... what is your HP goal?

HP goal is around 250whp since it's a daily driver.

I just notice when I go over 7psi I start leaning out. Doesn't matter if I tune it richer, it still leans out and start making no power. I'm trying to get it to 10psi for now while I build my other F22b1 (which then my goal will be 350-400whp). I know it's the fuel pump because I'm using 450cc injectors on a stock pump.

I know I will probably need a better intank pump if I'm going over 450whp since my stock one might cause a restriction at that power (with the inline of course), but I won't need to do that anytime soon.

You should be fine by just adding the inline, wire it with its own relay and fused power source and trigger it with the stock pump power wire.

i thought inline pumps were used to increase pressure for fmu setups. why not just drop a walbro in-tank and call it a day? they are only like $90

I would like to, but I don't want to drop the fuel tank and I hear of problems with high fuel pressure with the walbro intank so when I smog and take off all my turbo equipment every two years I can take off the inline without a problem. Inline is only $110 for a inline walbro 255lph pump.

If you dont get fittings with the inline the thread pitch is M10x1.0.... its an oddball thread size.

Thanks! The kit I'm going to order has the fittings for it already.
