i was thinking about getting this setup because i do want to get my car down there lol. from what ground-control.com say's on their website they offer koni yellow struts for just 40dollars more.

I was wondering if anyone of you guys/gals have had experience with this set up. How was the ride quality and whatnot. Thanks.

 

it's easily one of the best setups you can get for the ef it's defiantly in my top five

 

Ride quality will be determined entirely by your choice of spring rates, so no one can really answer that one. Stay under 550 lbs/in or so, and the shocks will be able to control the springs adequately.

 

i think that +40 is add to the package due to something extra you need for the setup. i dont think they are selling them for 40 dollars.

 

yeah i agree ^. eibach isn't going to just "give" shocks away for 40 bucks. especially since koni is over 250 a set to begin with.

 

yeah dude $40 is to upgrade to the ground control coilover made to go on koni shocks because koni's use a cir clip if you dont want to use the perches that the sleeves sit on

I personally went with 400lb springs up front and 500lb springs in the rear. Stiff, but the car performs very very well. Koni/GC > Anodized china coilovers.

 

no mean to jack ur thread, jus to show u how my EF sits with the setup, and rides smooth

 

PM'ed ya check it. I'm totaly sold on the GC/koni set up, my sedan is dumped like above and it rides smooth.

 

****. Didn't think the struts would be that much. How would the GC perform with stock struts while I save more money for some tokico struts possibly the konis
