Drag rims? cuss i have some 15x10 4 lug spinwerkes that weight 9 pounds each and i want to put some drag radials on them but someone said i can only put slicks on them..?

 

as long as the tires fit on the rims then it shouldnt be a problem, on a 10" wheel you'd almost have to run a 255-265-275/45/15 something of that nature.

 

chances of finding street tires at that size will be nearly impossible.

well a 205 on a 10" rim would leave you with a sidewall sooo stretched it wouldnt be safe at all, matter of fact any tire stretch is not safe, i run 949 racing wheels 15x8 +36 on my 94 coupe with nitto NT01 225/45/15 and they look the same as a 15x6.5 with a 205/50/15 would from the side but much wider. no excesive camber or fender rolling.

 

light wheels do not take to well to pot holes.

they certainley do not. OP you said your dad would be pissed if you took his wheels, imagine if you brought them back bent/broken.

 

F that im not tryin to get beatin! but i wouldnt have them everyday thing, only the weekend at the night races other then that its aalll blades all day haha
