Default Got a Ref Ticket yesterday! ****!

Alright i got a ref ticket yesterday with my new b17 just swapped in my eg.
i got the ticket b.c i didnt have the breather hose that connects my valve cover to my intake
im not sure what i should do. I currently have this setup
B17 freshly rebuilt with p30 (jdmb16a) pistons and jdm b16 head Everything is pretty much stock besides the AEM CAI but thats all and also a test pipe no cat
only problem is that i dont have a knock sensor nor a o2 sensor b.c i was about to get it tuned next week and they were going to be erased. Now im screwed.
any ideas?

Sorry to hear that. I wonder if this is what's to come for the rest of us if Obama's new 35mpg by 2016 goes into effect.

I would guess it's better for most of you in CA to run cat's, really how power are you really loosing.

You can buy a plug in fitting for the intake pipe, buy a small piece of hose and fix the one issue.

Buy a high flow cat and "bolt" it on. Make the car legal.

Just make sure all the smog for the b17 is hooked up and the motor is newer then the car. After you get this stuff on call the 800 number and make the appointment. Don’t get caught driving the car until you get if fixed they can tow the car. Also if you don’t fix the problems, and pay the fine and get caught again you could get arrested. if you or anyone you know ever dose a swap they can call the 800 number and the ref will tell you what you need to fix before the police stop you.

Sadly to say there is not much you could do. You wont pass BAR with that motor because its older. Best bet to do is get a D series and throw it in there and take that to the ref. Then the ticket can become dismissed when you pass ref. Was pictures taken when they were giving you the ticket? If you want more info PM me. But other then that you could try just paying the fine.

well it has the possibility of passing bar cause i have a 92 cx

what year is the b17? as long as it is newer then the car and have all the smog for that motor hooked up it should pass the bar.
