Default n/a mini-me

im using a d15b7 blocc, i was wondering what head would be a better choice a Z6 head or a Y8 head

Honestly, whichever is cheaper. But if you can find a Y8 head, it will yield you a higher compression ratio than a Z6 head.

yea i knew that was lookn for someone to confrim that. i heard alot of ppl build z6 heads more then anything....thanks can anyone else add. im using mostly oem parts, i gotta z6 blocc for extra parts...but i gotta y8 head on decc

^not to bring back from the dead or anything

y8 head WILL yeild higher compression. But a Z6 is the way to go. you can mill off more from the Z6 and your B7 and be fine, but the Y8 has a smaller combustion chamber so you cant do too much with it
