this may have been covered, but right now i have one year left of college and i keep obsessing over what my next DD is gunna be. right now i have a 97 d16 turbo and i like it .. its fun. but i'm gunna be older, goin to bars, i want to be rollin in something other than a civic :p.
my friends are obsessed with bimmers .. and i like them a lot too, i like the lexus is250s a lot too, but those cars to me are just way to expensive for what they are.
i figure i can get a s2k, probably have it paid off in like 2 years probably maybe less even.
the question i have tho is regarding turboing it. i definately want more power than the s2k comes with stock, and i'd like to pretty much terrorize any evo/sti thats rollin around my parts of town. but my main thing is that i want to keep everything comfortable with the car. power steering and ac mainly, as well as reliability ... so when turboing an s2k is it possible to keep all of those things?
i'll be happy with 350+ hp, although 400+ would be real nice

highest hp i have made so far is just my stock d16 at 6 psi making 180whp .... of course i want to do it the right way, i'm not one of those ppl that cut corners .. im meticulous.
if i wasn't in college right now and i had a job i'd be building up a d16 shooting for 300+
but i definately would love to have a monster s2k sitting in my garage

if you can't afford a BMW or Lexus then you can't afford to mod let alone boost a s2k as you think you will. s2k and comfort don't belong in same sentence. its an enthusiast car IMO and not some civic or integra you throw a turbo on to be cool and go fast.
getting the s2k just for the pure fact of looking cool inbfront of bars and racing evos and sti's is pointless somehting a tool would do and ur not a tool are u?

no im not a tool, and its not that i wouldnt be able to afford a bimmer or lexus .. its just i want somethin more performance oriented .. if they offered a 400whp lexus is250 id hop on that in a second.
i just want a good overall DD, since i could turbo a civic and still keep it comfortable, i'm wondering if i can do the same w/ the s2k .. so can u turbo one and keep ps and ac? or is it just not possible?

AC and PS are both allowed on most kits, its just relocation of battery/fusebox that may be recommended.

sorta true, and this car is impossible to make comfortable.
OP, Powersteering will not be an issue and AC shouldn't be with a supercharger kit or the greddy kit (which i would recommend for your goals)
You can reach your power goals for far less then 9k$. What I would suggest is picking up an s2000 and driving it around stock first before you worry about turbocharging it. I think you might realize that the car is everything you are looking for right out of the box from the factory. Go test drive one!
