Lowering??
96 accord 2 dr 5 spd
i wanna lower this car, but i have been told that when a car is lowered, it kills the ride quality. how much truth is in this and does it depend on the kit?? and/or how dramatic the lowering kit is??

There is some truth to this. SOME, but it's mostly false. Ride quality might decrease a little because you are shortening the spring in the car. To make up for this shorter spring, you need a stiffer spring, so it balances it out.
Ride quality also depends on the kit. If you get some eBay crap, it's going to be super stiff (from what I heard...) There some lowering ranging from .5" all the way up to 3"
Tein H-Tech lowers the least and provides the closes to stock. The Eibach Pro-Kits and Tein-S-Tech lower about 1-1.5" provide a more aggressive spring, but still a great daily driver (S-Tech are little stiffer) Now you've got your Sport springs and Full-coilovers.
My personal experience. I love the feel of the road, but want it to be still a daily driver and not too low. So I went with the Eibach Pro-Kit. Little more performance than stock, but still a nice ride.
