Default How do you carry an extra helmet? F4i

I was wondering how i would ring an extra helmet around while riding?
I have seen some helmet nets, but can seem to figure out where it would hook to.
I have an 05' f4i, the RR seem to be able to hook it to something so it rides along side the seat. Pics would be great. BTW i searched already...here and cbrfourm.com

it's probably wrong, but i just ride with it hooked up to my helmet holder under the passenger seat. i let the strap of the helmet dangle once, and i guess the tire rubbed on it and ate off the clip thing at the end of the strap.

I don't know about the 05's, but the 01-03 F4i's have helmet hooks under the passenger seat. I think you probably have it too, lift up your banana seat and look for two hook things that don't look like they're supposed to be there. Hook your helmet on there and you're good to go.

Haha, don't feel too bad man. I owned my bike for nearly a year before I realized I had them too. I never use them though, I think riding around with the helmet like that will scratch my paint.

Do not use your helmet straps to hold a helmet to the bike. The straps are not designed for the tension and vibration they would be put through. If you must carry a helmet, use a bungee net and bungee the helmet down.

Just curious -- why would you need to carry an extra helmet?

If you can't find the helmet hooks, you are probably pretty new at this whole riding thing. If the latter is the case, you should not be taking passengers. Just a thought.

I have a small icon magnetic tank bag that has a strap that goes though a full face helmet
and it seems to hold it secure on top of the tank.
