Default car runs hot even with fans on at idle!

havent had this problem till it got hot. i did all the little stuff to stop the overheating like new oem honda thermostat, 2 new temp sensors, new radiator, new timin belt, new waterpump, new headgasket and the system was bled of air. but also when i drive 55 it stays cool and when i get up to 70 or 75 then it starts to creep up! heres another thing, when im at idle and it starts runnin hot after 3 minutes of idling then as soon as i hit the gas and pull off, the needles look like it goes down rapidly back to normal! even with the ac on it tends to run hot...any advice?..thanks

oh yea...95 accord vtec

sounds like you still have an air pocket trapped in the cooling system.

This is my procedure:

Jack the front of the car up

take off the rad cap.

start the car and let it warm to operating temp

squeeze all the hoses especially the heater core hoses, to help move the air pockets.

let car run till the fan kicks on 2 times.

top off radiator and overflow replace cap.

if this keep happening after everything you've replaced you either have a crack or hole in a hose or a water jacket that is allowing air to be drawn in once the car cools off.

Well the air pocket that would mess you up is the one on the thermostat housing.........I would bleed the system from the Bleed Screw on the Thermostat housing.......the sensor on there makes the fans turn on!
