Ok my buddy has a 89 CRX with a B18 LS Swap. The main relay plug, did not have a main relay when he bought it. It had 3 cables jumping some pins together in the plug. The issue is, we bought the proper main relay, plugged it, and the car cranks but no start. And there was fuel pressure, which was my first suspect. What do you guys suggest I look into? I have a multimeter, so I can check whatever cables you tell me to check.

Cliff notes
* 89 CRX w B18 swap
* Main relay plug had a bunch of cables jumping it together ( no main relay)

theres a thread on here that helps you eliminate problems with the main realy, main relay wiring, fuses for it, and ect..

as a matter a fact, my sedan was doing the same thing a few days ago.. i put a new main relay in it, and changed the starter solenoid fuse ( i think thats what its called, i think its fuse number 14 or something)

 

But if my problem was the starter solenoid, wouldn't it NOT crank at all? It would crank, get fuel pressure, but not run. Also. . where is that thread you mentioned? It's not even my car its a friends car, I usually stay at the 92-00 civic forum.

my starter worked perfectly but that fuse was blow, the fuse is also for other wires but its called the starter solenoid fuse or something.
