Default what should I do at the track

I'm planning on going to the track soon and wanted to get some advise on what to do to get some decent times on street tires. I have a 97 lude full built turbo motor running about 15lbs of booost making about 350 hp. I'll be rockin my 18" c5's with 215/40 bfg kdw's. I guess what I'm looking for is a launch technique. Also if I should try to stagger my stance meaning raise the rear of the car with my adjustable springs to try to compensate for squatting. Any help would be appreciated.

If I were you I would try to find some slicks. You would be much more satisfied. If not then just find that sweet spot between spinning & bogging and feather it some if you spin.

Look into getting drag wheels and slicks. Most slicks are made for a 13 or a 15" rim. In your case, if you're on a stock brake setup, the smallest rim you can use is a 15" A 23x8.5x15 slick would be perfect for your hp.

Thanks all for your comments. I do have some slicks lined up but just dont have them yet so I guess I'll just do what I've done in the past on street tire which is launch low and feather and spin.

Trying to race on big wheels is a very bad idea, if you have your stock stuff atleast put them on the front, your transmission and axles will thank you.... I learned this the hard way when I launched my friends Stock Mitsu GS-T for its first pass ever at the track with 18" wheels or anything, launched at 2800rpm part throttle slipping the clutch and exploded the tranny within 15'. Fixed the car and he went to stock size stuff and never broke another tranny launching the hell out of it.
